After several years, Al joined GBP&B and brought with him a considerable amount of attestation and consulting engagement experience. Away From the Office:

Al has five children and enjoys coaching a variety of youth sports.
Al is an avid golfer and basketball player.
Three of Al’s favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption, Glory and the Untouchables (the accountant gets them in the end!).
He reads a variety of books, but specifically enjoyed Rick Reilly's Missing Links or Michael Lewis Liar's Poker as two light-hearted favorites.

Professional Influences, Ideas and Advice:
Al really enjoys the people, culture, and the collective character at GBP&B. One of his fondest memories comes from looking back to 2000 when the GBP&B firm employees began talking about becoming employee owned. In September of 2000 the firm votes unanimously to make it happen.
Al believes the attention to client details and personal efforts to build client’s trust are a huge part of why people seek out GBP&B.
He highly advises that students take advantage of the internship opportunities available to them and to join clubs and organizations and get involved and obtain as wide an array of experience as possible.
He is fond of the quote by John F. Kennedy, “To state the facts frankly is not to despair the future nor indict the past. The prudent heir takes careful inventory of his legacies and gives a faithful accounting to those whom he owes an obligation of trust."
