Professional Influences, Ideas and Advice:
Dan’s enthusiasm for the firm and his career are most accurately summarized in a recent thought: “Here at GBP&B, we don't have a fancy slogan or an elegantly worded mission statement. What we have is way more important. We have a dedicated group of professionals who come together when things get tight, and really help each other out. I know that no matter what happens, somebody here at GBP&B has my back and vice versa. This makes me proud."
With the technological advancements achieved in the field of accounting, Dan appreciates the gains in efficiency but also recognizes the additional complexities facing both the firm and the clients.
Dan’s advice to accounting students includes: “Enjoy your free time! Take a trip after college and be ready to work when you join the work force. Get the CPA exam done as soon as you can.”
The fact that each day brings with it new challenges and opportunities to help clients reach their financial goals is particularly rewarding for Dan.
