David W. Phillips, CPA, Principal

As a director emeritus in the firm, Dave provides clients with a wide range of experience that includes tax services as well as litigation support and reviews of audited financial statements. Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. He began his career in the audit department of Ernst & Ernst in Los Angeles. After working as a manager for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company in Los Angeles and as an internal auditor for Republic Corporation, Dave relocated to San Luis Obispo. He became a director in the firm in 1977, and served in that position for over 20 years.

Away From the Office:
Outside the firm, Dave is the president of a nonprofit Christian organization, which owns four low power television stations. He and his wife Judy, enjoy spending time with their seven grandchildren.
